    Hi,

I have upgraded to FCP Studio and today I was trying to export timeline to compressor for final dvd but got error in compressor “unable to connect to background process”.
Did anybody have that problem and what is the fix for it. I am now in a pitch because DVD is due tomorrow.
    Thank you for your help.

Go to Apple’s web site, click on the support tab, & enter that error message into the search field. This is a well documented problem, & Apple has published a white paper on it that also gives you the work arounds.
