  • Unable to click on pop up boxes in Premiere Pro CS3

Hello, any help you can give me on this subject will be much appreciated.

I recently reinstalled from Windows XP to Windows 7. Premiere Pro CS3 used to work fine on XP.

After this installation, I am unable to click on pop up boxes, some of which include boxes like, “Please name your file before continuing” or “Would you like to save your project before exiting?”

I can’t click on yes, no, or cancel, so I have to end the program from the task manager.

Also, when I get to the work area, if I drop any files onto the timeline, it glitches the timeline, and I’m only able to see the timeline like normal again by expanding premiere pro cs3.

The third problem I noticed was with the chroma key. I put my cursor over green areas of the green screen, yet it comes up the wrong colors such as grey or black.

I am thinking these issues are all tied into one another. Perhaps having to do with a driver or some kind of software I have not installed yet on Windows 7.

I have the NVIDIA Geforce Go 7900 GS and windows 7 says I have the best drivers installed for it.

    Hi John,

I would recommend XP for CS3, it was created way before the Windows 7 days, and it was designed for it, there were in fact some compatibilities issues even with Vista.
