  Ultrastudio Express 1080p25 capture from Red Epic

  I just got a BM Ultrastudio Express to help a friend live capture on set to enable an edit.

  First, I tested the Ultrastudio in an edit room feeding it 1080p24 from a DaVinci Resolve video out playing out from another Ultrastudio. It worked fine and FCP 7, Avid MC both could see and capture the live video.

  However, when connected to a Red Epic which was shooting 25fps, with the Brain HD-SDI set to 1080p and 25Hz, I get no video in Log and Capture in FCP 7. Neither do I get any video in Premiere Pro. The same HD-SDI pit when connected to a HD monitor over BNC, shows a picture fine.

  So, does the Ultrastudio Express enable video input with a 1080p25 signal?
  Has anyone captured HD-SDI video from a Red Epic Dragon at 1080p25?
