  Ultrastudio 4K performance drop

  Mac Pro 2019 16 core
  256GB RAM
  Pro vega II
  Radeon VII
  Afterburner
  LG 5K Display for GUI
  XDR display for Video out

  Red Helium media, 2 nodes of de-noise and 2 of colour correction and Luma adjustments

  Without the Ultrastudio 4K attached via thunderbolt 3/2 – 15fps of playback or encoding to 4K ProRes

  With the Ultrastudio 4K attached – 5 fps of playback or encoding

  Should I really be seeing such a drastic drop in performance by just having the ultrastudio connected??
