  UltraStudio 3D Questions

  Maybe some more experienced cats out there (or BM reps) can clue me in?

  – For portable capture, do I need to carry a RAID setup with me (Pegasus R4?) or can I rely on a PowerBook internal drive if the capture session is short? Obviously there’s a considerable I/O barrier when capturing uncompressed video, but I just want to make sure I can get the traveling gear down as low as possible. Also, I’m assuming the US3D only captures to uncompressed, yeah?

  – Can this replace pretty much anything we used the Intensities for?

  – Do the outputs work as pass-throughs for monitors while capturing?
