  • ULTRA – moving FCP files from MacBookPro OSX to ULTRA on Bootcamp

I’m using the Ultra Keying software on Windows under Bootcamp in the MAcBook Pro. The software works great. The problem is there’s no way to move files from the MAC directly to the partitioned windows drive. I knew that so I’m trying to move the native FCP files via a jump drive. Although I can see the files, they are not recognized by Windows.

Anybody know a good way to get files form FCP under the OSX side of a MacBookpro onto the Windows side under bootcamp?

FYI, ULTRA does not work under parallels.

If you don’t mind spending a little money, you could use a product like MacDrive to allow the PC side to see mac files.

if you are using that “jump drive” with FAT32 formatting then it may be you just need to add a .mov extension to your quicktime files to get the PC side to recognise them

MacDrive6 was the perfect solution for only $49. Thanks.
