    Do the features of Ultimate S continue to work with Vegas Pro 8? For example will both Vegas Pro 8 multicam and Ultimate S multicam work side by side allowing someone to select the method to use or will Ultimate S be designed to work with the new feature?
    Probably cannot be answered now but does Vegas Pro 8 allow scripting to dig deeper into the guts of Vegas or is everything pretty much the same? Just curious.

    Ultimate S (and Excalibur) both will/do still function in Vegas 8, and your preferences for working with the Sony multicam or the third party multicam tools are yours to choose. There are benefits to both workflows, IMO.

    There are some scripting possibilities available now with Vegas 8 that weren’t there before, yes.
