    Hi
I used the Ultimate S bitrate calculator to create an Architect stream for DVD and it worked perfectly to fit a 2 hour 7 min project onto a DVD. Normal settings created a 6.5G file and did not fit, of course. I’m confused because the file is 5.2G based on the Ult. S calculator and it created successfully on a 4.7G DVD. And it looks great! Did Architect do an addition compression during burning? Just want to understand.
    Regards,
    Gary

DVDA will sometimes do an audio recompression which should only take a few minutes before creating the IFO and VOB files, but if you are experiencing hours or compression, DVDA may also be recompressing the video. This is not a desireable outcome. If you search this forum for Mark’s bit rate calculator and 2 pass variable bit rendering, you should be able to work out what you need to do.
