Hello Chris Kay. I had the same problem when I purchased my Microsoft Surfice Book pro, and the same problem my 4K monitors.
There are only two options that I know of that’s available at this time.
#1 you could sckil down your monitor to 1080 P That’s should be in your display setting.
#2 Is a little more involved. Follow these instructions to the letter. I hope this helps you like it did for me.
