I was wondering if anyone could suggest or recommend any good websites, books or resources that teach typography?

I have been designing motion graphics and print material for more than a few years but never really was formally trained on typography and I know having a greater knowledge of typography would broaden my skills greatly.

The book that opened my eyes was “The Non-Designer’s Design Book” by Robin Williams. If you work with type, you should read the book. It covers the basic principles of design (which basically means Typographic Design) which cover just about enough of the rules so you know when to break them and when to follow them. Keep it handy.
