TYPING ONTO SCREEN EFFECT???
Anyone know of an easy way to animate text typing across a screen? I shot an action/comedy movie and I want one of the establishing shots to have this text that types onto the frame in a “digital manner” with cool little beeping audio for it. Just curious. Thanks

If you’re using FCP6 you might want to try the “Typewriter” filter you can find in the Video Generator–Text tab. If you’re not on version 6 you’ll have to search for a plugin.

Version 6 was mentioned, but
FCP’s built-in Text generator has had this feature since Version 4. -
well actually im using FCE HD. ill try livetype i guess
