I’m trying to do, what I would expect to be, a somewhat easy animation but can’t figure out how.

I would like a line of type to appear as though its being typed letter-by-letter. There doesn’t seem to be a MoType Effector to do this, but I figure there should be a way with XPResso.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

Use a plane effector. In the parameters tab, uncheck position, check scale, set it to uniform, and enter -1 as the value. Set the effector’s falloff to linear and turn the falloff slider down to 0%. Animate the position of the effector to create the typing effect.
