  Type/Text Problem in Vegas–Never had before

  Hello,
  All of a sudden I’m having a problem with type that I set in Vegas. If the type is colored black (over a white background) or white (over a black background) it looks fine. Once I start adding a color to the text or background, it gets really bad looking, blurred edges almost a ghosting/beveled look to it. This happens in both Vegas 7 and 9. The text looks fine on my Vegas preview screen (preview or best mode), but not on my external monitor (firewire through canopus ADVC110). When rendered it looks bad. I’ve never had this problem before and no changes have been made to the computer I’m using. Any help would be much appreciated.
