Type Tool takes FOREVER…
So, I have a question… is it normal for my Type tools in After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and the Title Tool in Premiere to take FOREVER to initialize?
It seems like everytime I try to use a writing tool, it takes forever to initialize… and then when I want to do things like look at the lists of fonts… and things like that… it takes a while to update… I’m running all CS3 programs, and I have a dual core Pentium D processor with like 4gb of RAM… so I don’t know why this would be happening…
Any ideas?

You have too many fonts/font conflicts/corrupted fonts/etc. You should look into some font management software.
