Type 1 font file question
I’m using a type 1 font file that was provided by my client. However, after installing the font on my computer I can’t use it in any adobe program. I have opened up Word and used the font in the there. Does anyone know if type 1 fonts work in Adobe? What is the difference from a type 1 to a true type font? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That sounds unusual. You might have to convert the font using TransType.
