I currently have a dual a monitor set up with my viewer on the second monitor for playback, but was hoping I could have a smaller one on my main monitor. Is this possible or can you only have the one?

CANVAS…the timeline window is the CANVAS and the place you load your clips is the VIEWER.

Sorry, you can only have one canvas. If you want two monitors to work with, and the full sized image on a third, then you need a hardware solution. If this is DV, then routing through your camera to a TV will work. If this is HD, and you want to use your computer monitor, then you need a Matrox MXO. Click on my head at the top and look for my review.

Otherwise you’ll need other HD output cards or devices and an HDTV at least.

All true, but you can have as many viewers as you want.

    Have a wonderful day.
