    Hi,

I have two solid objects in a composition and they are moving in the same direction (X). What I want to be able to do is that one should be faster than other (slower one should follow the other) and come across at the end of the animation. I am able to do it with different null objects parenting their anchor points with different keys, but this is not what I am looking for; I want to do this operation just by using two solids with their anchor points parenting one to other and some expressions.

That would be appreciated If someone can help me on this subject.

    Thanks in advance.

I’m not sure this does what you’re looking for, but this simple position expression will cause a layer to follow the leader at 90% of the leader’s speed (without parenting):

    thisComp.layer(“leader”).transform.position.valueAtTime(time*.9)

Yes, exactly did. Thank you so much, Mr. Ebberts; you made this little green man’s day.
