Well that reconnecting one totally rocks. Will it do the impossible, like say, reconnect a small clip that resides in a BIG one? Like a 5 min section of video that might lay in a 30 min capture?

    Just curious.

    Shane,

    You’re pissing me off here.

Since you are TOP POSTER on the Apple lists, and thus seem to know everything, why not use the FREE demo, and test it yourself?

And yes, it works. But obviously i’m totally biased. So don’t take my word for it.
    Do test yourself.

It will take you less than 5 minutes to do a real life test on the subject, including the download of the free demo.

    sheesh…

HA! I just thought a simple question would suffice.

But OK…I’ll test it. Not like I’m WORKING or anything.

Software developers…what a testy bunch. Give us free software and expect US to play with it. What is the world coming to?

    (lol)

    Another mistake.
The OTHER tool is free, this one is paid.

And yes, to cut back on customer support, we NEED people to use / test the stuff before they buy it.
Saves HUGE on the support team, and makes everyone happy.
(No false promisess, you get what you pay for, nothing more (well, except karma and updates), nothing less.)

Do test, do report back with objective findings!

I noticed my mistake as soon as I downloaded the DEMO. I actually feel better about that. If this works as advertised, people SHOULD pay for it. You worked hard.

HOLY CRAP! Bouke! You are a mad genius! This is utterly amazing. I’m flabbergasted. Amazed. Just plain…wow.

I captured 5 small clips from a tape. Then I captured that section as one LARGE chunk to cover all the bases. I then went through the steps outlined. Option 1, making new media from that one chunk worked like a charm. Option 2, reconnecting the media to points INSIDE that chunk…also worked like a charm.

    Fan-farking-tastic!

I preferred Option 1 as then I could have all my small media files and delete the big chunk to save space.

Wow wow wow. You have stunned this forum head. Applause all around.
