two layers with same position wiggle

you can parent all attributes (including position) by simply using the layer parenting feature. if it’s not already available in the time line, click the little arrow/triangle inthe upper right corner of the timeline, then choose columns>parent from that menu. select the layer that you want to parent a layer to in the pulldown menu, or use the parent pickwhip to pick the layer.

if you only wanted to parent the position only (leaving rotation, scale and other attributes free), then select the layer to parent and hit ‘p’ to see the position values. then enable expression (animation>add expression) and pickwhip that layer’s position to the other layers position value.

Parent.
It’s really that simple.

But you can use expressions in the child layer to point directly at the position parameter of the wiggling layer.
Or, in the most elegant application, create a null, apply your wiggle to the null, and paretn or express both layers to the null.
