Two JVC VHS decks require repair
Can anyone recommend a website that gives decent DIY deck repair instructions for JVC SVHS decks?
JVC SR-V10U – recorded picture is mottled and pasty looking (head cleaning did not work).
JVC 9800U – tape load and transport problems.

Considering how cheap old S-VHS decks are now, I’d probably pick up some more used ones rather than try and repair. This is probably not what you wanted to hear, but from experience, any parts you might need would likely cost more than those decks are worth.
