  • Two intensity cards …one machine?

There was a similar post regarding using two different cards in a Mac, but what about two IDENTICAL Intensity cards on a Windows machine. I’m interested in capturing from two Canon HV20 camcorders SIMULTANEOUSLY to BM MJPEG HD or Cineform HD or as a last resort uncompressed HD. If this is not possible exactly what is preventing it? Is there a solution on the horizon?

    Hi Scott,

What is preventing this workflow right now is that applications off the shelf right now will not address 2 capture cards simultaneously. Our drivers already supported multiple cards (even 2 of the same) in a single system.

Thanks Kristian: while not the ideal solution, I might choose to use a switcher instead. Does the Intensity card accept input from an HDMI signal switch(er) such as:

    https://www.ramelectronics.net/html/HDMI-Switchers.html

If I switch the video source input (to the switcher) between the two HV20 cams will the final result (video captured thru the Intensity) be glitch free?
