Two Hours On One DVD…
Posted by Jerry Neal on May 19, 2008 at 4:13 amWhat should the bit rate settings “high, average, etc.” be to burn two hours of video on one DVD. I’m using AC-3 for my audio.
Thanks,

CBR: 4500
VBR: 8000 / 4500 / 2700
Add three more zeros to each number.
All numbers are rounded down. -

June 4, 2008 at 4:08 amI sometimes fit 3 hours on DVD, here’s how:
-render the project in vegas as mpeg 2 at 7000 and AC-3 audio stereo
-make the dvd architect project and make a prep folder (sometimes its huge like 9GB)
-use DVD shrink and set it to two pass, make an ISO file.
-burn it using nero
