Two excellent tutorials using Resolve 15 Fusion for masking and mattes
One challenge is to use the power of Fusion for masking and mattes and then use the power of Resolve to modify color in the color tab.
But how to create the alpha mask in Fusion and stack it on the timeline and then, in the color tab, to work with either the top edit video track (the Fusion mask) OR work with the second edit track to color the background base image???
One key is the color tab “Mix” button which is allows selection of the combined tracks (the mask and the background) OR to work with the color of each track separately and independently.
