hey there, im trying the twixtor demo for final cut..

    i had one question..

Does it matter if the footage is shot in 24f/p or 30/60i?

im assuming that if i shot interlace, that when i apply the plugin, the motion would be a lot smoother and blending would be more accurate.

i tried it on footage that i shot last semester that was shot 24p, and when rendered it out, on the edges of the subject, you can see poor blending of the frames.

i followed the re-vision fx turorial found on youtube to guide me.

Of course as you found guess: having more samples in time (60i) will give you better time-smoothing. Shooting 30p will give you better SPATIAL resolution. So you’ll have to decide which works better in each situation.

As for “glooping” around the edges of the subject, did you see our tutorial about how to deal with unwanted warping? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KTIHdwGan0k

    Thanks Pete.

What if i were shooting in 24f/p and came across a scene that I wanted to do in slo-mo?

thanks for the video regarding warping. I will play with it tonight.!
