Twixter conversion NTSC to PAL
It’s amazing how many forum topics there are now on the cow!
I just discovered Twixtor in my search for a method to make decent software conversions of NTSC 1080i to PAL 1080i
also based on my test so far, this is going to take some time to convert a 2 hr movie!Any opinions on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
I have the twixtor demo version but my problem is more with the cinema tools, which i am supposed to use for changing the frame rate initially.
In Cinema Tools, the “conform” button remains greyed out after importing the clip, regardless of what type of clip I try, though all MOV.
I find no mention in the manual.
I see this mentioned in apple forums but never an answer.Anyone have any idea??

I did a quick search on google, and looks like it’s a common problem. Curious what does the Inspector says for codec. Cinema Tools might not work with non native quicktime codecs (when quicktime is only a wrapper to another format)?
