  • tweenie question: focusing fresnel maintenance

I have a Mole Tweenie II, 650 watt fresnel, with a very “sticky” focusing mechanism. The “screw” side seems fine, but the assembly seems to hang up on the opposite rail. I know this seems like a small thing, but it’s annoying. Can I grease the rails with something, and if so, what would be the proper (non-flammable) lubricant?

    Thanks!

answering my own question, I called Mole-R and they use WD-40, sprayed onto a rag and then rubbed on the rails (so the bulb doesn’t explode).
