We’re adding an MX02 Mini to our MC 5.5 suite for monitoring. We’d like a 40+” screen and cost is a big consideration. Any recommendations? LCD, LED, Plasma? Am I crazy to just go to Costco and pick up a TV. Can the MX02 really do decent calibration?

    thanks

ps any experience with the MAX option? Is it worth doubling the price?

Panasonic Pro Plasma would be good. 42″ for around $2000. That’s what many pro colorists use as their main screen. But any GOOD HDTV will get you a good image. Name brand…Aquos (Sharp), Panasonic, Sony. And yes, the MXO2 calibration tool gets you a good image.

Also, I heard that IBC will bring us new affordable pro plasmas. I have no further details, though.
