    hey guys
what do I use in order to make a frame look as a TV monitor
I have a shot that I need to give the felling as if it was shot from a TV monitor, how do I change the borders and what effects should I add
I have same shot that I wasnt to split to two, one full size frame regular and the second part as if it is from TV

how can I make the borders lk a bit rounded?

    thanks

Do you have Photoshop or After Effect? You can build it easy with those programs. Do a search on the forum, I think there’s been threads on this subject. Try adding scan-lines, noise to the image and even a glare/reflection spot, all that helps the illusion.

Another way to make it truly realistic is to play the clip on a monitor and re-shoot it with a camera. I do that all the time and it looks great. Plus, you can do moves, swishes or zoom into parts of the frame for effect.

If I understand your reqs correctly, our company sells a plug-in called “Old TV” which fits the bill. It does a few things:
    – adjustable rounded corners (essentially, a geometric distortion that simulates the bumpy screen)
    – color adjustment to simulate old cathode ray tubes
    – scanlines with adjustable thickness and opacity
    – optional interference with lots of controls
    – lastly (a nice touch IMHO) an optional reflection on the screen – you can even supply your own reflected graphic via an image well.
