I can’t figure out how to do it, using Mocha, I’ve motion tracked an image to a movie TV, the glare is useless though since there was already video on the screen so I can’t extract just the glare to put on the new footage so I have to create my own, anyone know of a relatively simple way to pull this off? thanks

Why not just use selfmade masks (solids) and feather them? Use a lightish blue or white as color and turn the blend mode to screen or add. Then lower the opacity by taste.
Alternatively you can try to feather them only on one side and make the other one sharp but with a gradient.
Search vor glass button tutorials for Photoshop. It’s basically the same thing.

or did I understand you wrong?
    If so, I’m sorry.

I wouldn’t track it, if the quality of the video is not very good, since you always get some noise and artifacts.

How about taking a picture of a/the TV while it is off. Then just roto the shape of the entire screen and add blend to your new video layer.
