Tutorials reminder
If you’ve never watched them before, or just need a refresher, Elvis Deane created some nice tutorials using particleIllusion standalone a few years back.

That “disintegration” effect can’t be done with the plug-in version of particleIllusion (in AE or Vegas), only the standalone. Good stuff though!

The bottom two are not video tutorials, but they’re good. They’re worth looking at, even though if you’re like me you really want to watch a video instead of read.
I guess I should make a similar tutorial in video format.
