Tutorial request for ball dropping into water (see the link please)
Hi, In the attached YouTube link , the guy is teaching about “displacement map”. in his first example he shows how a ball falls into the water. I tried to reproduce it but failed. I was wondering, being expert you guys be able to guide me about it?

the thing is he does not show his height map in that part of the tutorial so I understand.. height map…the white circles on the grey background.
1on an adjustment layer add the displacement map
2create white and black solids
3create another layer called height map and add the wave world effect changing to height map and precompose
4 use the height map in the displacement effect and set horizontal displacement to zero
