    hi all!

i have a little problem: we are working on an image-video for a project in the university of applied sciences hagenberg (austria).
i saw the animation in the first 6 seconds of this tutorial: https://www.videocopilot.net/tutorial.html?id=52
(aspire to create – create to aspire –> http://www.videocopilot.net)
this text-animation would fit perfectly into our video. but i can’t find a tutorial for this.
can you tell me, if there exists a tutorial for this kind of animation? this would help us a lot!

    best regards
    christian

    thank you for your comment!
    i’m sorry – but i’m just a beginner in after effects. i really need a step-by-step tutorial.
the most important part for us in this video is the part, where the two words melt together to one word.

This tutorial https://www.videocopilot.net/tutorials.html?id=43 shows how to setup the 3D scene by using the solids in 3D.
Once you have mastered the use of 3D objects and 3D camera manipulation the “merging” of words is a perspective distortion caused by dollying the camera way out and having the light behind the words come up at the right time. In AE a lot of time is spent in timing things just right.
