There’s a switch in the qualifier window and also a keyboard shortcut you can find in the view menu, from the top of my head… Command-H??? I use a panel so I kinda forgot…

Tried lots of ky+H and no luck. What is the name for the toggle. It may not be called a mask, its the grey bit that shows what is selected in the qualifier/power window.

    Shift-H should do the trick

View -> Window Outline -> On.

Make sure you have the Power Window pallet up, and choose the Power Window tool in the lower left corner of the Viewer on the Color page.

There are pros and cons to using the Window Outline vs. Highlight, and in some cases one serves better than the other.

Thank you for your answer, I had been looking for this option for months to turn the Power Windows on and off, thank you, thank you! I take and I consult: you will know how to activate the Central Button in the Magic Mouse of Apple? I see that this option of the Central Button is used for several functions here in DaVinci. Or should I buy a mouse that has a physical Central Button?

For me, the only way I can use Resolve is with a 3-button wired optical mouse.

I used to use a five button mouse but definitely get at least a three button mouse. So handy when grading

Marc, which one do you fancy?

I had to retire my SGI mouse and tolerate the MS Intellimouse.
I miss not having the scroll 🙁

I use the HP X500 Optical Wired Mouse, which is only $13 on Amazon. Works great with Resolve (at least for what I do).
