    Hi all

    So im very very new to aftereffects so bear with me!
    I have a 4 min video that i want to change from cartoon to live footage and back to cartoon?
    basically i want to turn the cartoon effect off and back on again a few frames later and wondered the most effective way round this

    If you are refering to the cartoon effect under “stylize”, a easy way would be to just split the layer where you want it applied and don’t.

    Select your layer and under edit, you will find split layer. Make your edits, then just apply the effect to the segments you want ‘cartooned’
