Under the source clip theres a camera icon, press this and it will export a still. Alternatively, press shift+E

I used to use a program called “Topaz Moment”. Not sure if it is still available.

Why use a third party software when the feature is build in?

    Hi Ann,

I had the Topaz software and this was before HD video came out. Topaz used NASA-type resolution enhancement algorithms to produce high-res stills from SD video. It would compare the current frame to those around it to pull additional detail. Worked very well for me at the time, nice results.

    Thanks

    Jeff
