turning a sequence into a source clip
Is there a way in FCP to turn a sequence into a separate clip? I’ve synced video from my 5d with audio from my Marantz recorder and would like to make that sequence into a source clip that’ll load into the source side when I double click it, and that the find frame function will find from the program timeline.
I do this all the time on AVID, but have yet to figure it out on FCP.

It’s a poor workflow in FCP, but it can be done. You can edit any sequence into another sequence. You should probably use the merge clip function to combine the audio and the video.
