    Turning A person into a statue

    Please can anyone help me, I need a guide to turn a man in a movie footage into a stone statue, then burst it, do anyone has a solution to generate this effect in adobe after effect or any other video editing softwares. thanks

    Seeing the footage would help, but the basic idea is that you need to create a 3d model of the person, create a transition btween the live actor to the 3d model (rendered to look like a statue, and then explode that- in the 3d package or using particular in AE.
