  • Turning a LOT of markers into subclips?

I have a few hundred clips in 5.0 that each have a “Marker 1” point set to show the beginning of a certain scene. Is there any way to *globally* turn all of the “Marker 1’s” into their own separate subclips? I know I can do each of them one by one if need be, but if there’s some shortcut I’d love to know.

Worst case scenario, is there any way to at least *expand* every clip while it’s in the browser — i.e. open up ALL of the arrows all at once to display various markers, etc.??

It’s been a while since I’ve done this, but yes, it is possible. I don’t have FCP open, but if memory serves me right, highlight all of your markers within a clip. Then Command + U (I think it it within modify–>make subclips or something to that effect. Nevertheless, it can be done quite easily
