    Hello

    Tiger, FCP 5.0.4

I have a project that has several master clips for each source file, but only one or 2 of those master clips has an affiliate in my sequence.
so the net result is if i try to find unused time coded media for that sequence, i get nothing, since the only master clips that the sequence “knows” are the ones just in that sequence, instead of the whole project

Is there a way to “merge” or combine all those master clips so that all connect to each other?

I was thinking that if i made them all independent, then make them affiliates of one clip, but i cant seem to figure that out.

I have been adding the comment “Used” in all the master clips from the sequence, then compared time codes and add the comment to those master clips that don have it. But there must be a better way, no?

I think this all happened because the edit was started on another systme, and the sequence was in another project

    thanx in advance

    Hello Again

I Got it to work. By opening All the projects that had the media and then doing a “Find unused in all open projects”, i got it to fly!!

so go on about your business……nothing to see here…….move along, move along…..
