this is a n00b question, but if anyone can give me the answer i’ll be thrilled!

all i want to do is turn OFF the rendering when I’m adjusting a mask. Or a way of turning off this auto preview render (i don’t know what you call it) when working on the composition.

right now I’m keying out a subject and need to work with a subtractive mask and each time I move a point on the mask it sits there rendering for 4 seconds. Its very irritating! I’m working with 5k DPX files so each time I let go it has a render all that.

If i can just turn off that feature until I’m happy with the mask on that frame, then i’ll be able to get this thing done faster.

Also how do i turn it BACK ON? haha

    thanks!
