  • Turn of FX button on clips??? Anyone having trouble selecting the clips on the timeline of Adobe Premiere?

Hi, just made the switch from FCP to Premiere and loving it (Mac OSX). The one thing that has me pulling my hair out is selecting clips on a timeline. If they are too small I constantly click the FX button by defalt and get that little menu (motion; opacity; time remapping) – its driving me nuts. I have to zoom in every time, and slows the work down to a crawl.

Is there any way to turn those suckers off?

I cant find anything online about it… or really any other complaints about it. Its a shame… otherwise I love the program. I wish I could make the tracks even more narrow like in FCP, but I can live with it. The FX button thing is murder.

Thanks for whatever solutions you can offer. Even a “I feel your pain man” would be lovely 😉

I feel you. They drive me crazy and I have yet figured out how to turn them off.

Sorry, no idea how to help you.

What does that button do? (I come from After Effects).
