Turn all clips to time remapping from opacity default
Posted by Dave Rogers on March 22, 2021 at 6:56 pmIs there a way to turn all clips to time remapping from opacity default or does it have to be done one by one.
Thank you.

March 22, 2021 at 9:35 pmI have re-read this question about six times, and I can’t figure out what you’re asking. Are you asking whether you can tie the time remapping property to a clip’s opacity? Are you asking whether you can change the time properties of multiple clips in bulk?

March 23, 2021 at 12:45 pmHi Blaise, when you drop a clip in the timeline and want to keyframe the speed you need to click on the fx tab for that clip and change it from the default opacity to time remapping. is there a way to change all the clips in the timeline to time remapping ready for keyframing or does it have to be done manually?
Thanks

I think the confusion here is that you mentioned Opacity, which refers only to a layer’s transparency; it has nothing to do with the Time Remapping function other than it’s the next keyframeable property above it.
If you’re looking for a more global speed change, you can highlight multiple clips, right-click, and select Speed/Duration; it won’t keyframe it, but it will change as many clips as you want.
