Turbulant Energy: Looking for Advice
I found this image and was interested in how the effect was done. I tried a few things but didn’t manage to achieve similar results.
So I was wondering what sort of effects do you think could imitate this energy type effect (minus the colour and glow).
I am an intermediate with AE so I may have missed something in how I have used the effects.Methods I used were:
Mask with the “rough edges” effect
Inverted mask with the “rough edges” effect
Particular and a vector blur
Turbulent noise with a mask
Mask with a displacement map of turbulent noise -

vc Saber…with maybe another VC saber most importantly vc saber…lol
