I have footage of a man running from behind (a bit in the distance) through a tunnel. I would like to slow motion the scene and give the impression that the tunnel gets longer and longer – like if it kind of stretches out to infinity with the man getting smaller and smaller – almost dot-like. Any ideas how to achieve this? thx!

Sounds like some masking and feathering so that only the tunnel area and not the man gets selected. Precomp this. Then apply Stylize>Motion Tile. The parameter you want to adjust is OutputWidth and Output Height.

Don’t forget that you’ll also need the man masked out. The original mask can be used on a duplicate clip with the mask mode set to the opposite of what was applied to the other instance.

thanks. I tried to follow your suggestions – applying Stylize>Motion Tile and increasing the Output Width and Height, but nothing really seem to happen?? (when pre-composing I have moved all attributes into new comp) I can see that by scaling down the footage the image seems to have multiplied (on the side it stays the same, above and below it seems to be upside doen), but I can’t really seem to understand what use I can make of it!
