November 21, 2006 at 11:04 pmDoes it show up in Title 3D?
I completely avoid using the native FCP titlers for any purpose.

November 22, 2006 at 4:19 am“Title 3D” is a title generator that works inside FCP.
It is included with the FCP application and is found on the FCP installation discs.

November 22, 2006 at 5:49 pmYes, I’ve tried that. That particular font doesn’t show up in ANY FCP title application.

November 22, 2006 at 7:18 pmDid you try putting it in the “other” font folder in the “other” Library?
If you have it in the Fonts folder Library on the MacintoshHD, try copying it to the Fonts folder in the Library in your User folder, or vice-versa.
I noticed in FCP 4.5 that there was a discrepancy on which Fonts folder was accessed between FCP, Boris & LiveType. I don’t recall which is which at the moment. I’ve just gotten into the habit of putting new fonts in both places and I stopped having to hunt for my fonts.
They may have addressed this since then, but try it!
(tip: I label my new fonts with a color from the View menu so the added fonts are easy to identify if I need to trash them)
