Trying to use FCPx on 2 computers, and cannot open project on one of them
Hello everyone,
I own FCPx and purchased it through the App store years ago. I have another editor helping me with a project, so she is using my second allowed log in on her computer now (she downloaded it through my App store).
All seemed great as she is now editing the project that I was, but now when I go to open up the project on my computer (with the original FCPx log in), I get this:The document “[Library name]” could not be opened. Permission denied
“[Library name]” is already in use by “[old admin name]” on “[name]-imac.local”. (and this is my name)So, this is my original project and she is just working on it on my same FCPx (but the second log in).
Does anyone know what this is about?

The Library is open. Switch over to her login and close the library, or quit FCPX or log out.

We will try these and I will post back to let you know if it worked or not. We definitely quit the FCPx programs, and I think closed the libraries, but I didn’t know you could log out. That might be the issue.
