Trying to understand CUDA Nvidia vs ATI Radeon!
I’m running AE CC on a Mac Pro 5,1 with an ATI Radeon 5770 graphics card.
Today I see a new control panel in my System Preferences window that I don’t remember seeing before
entitled: CUDA. I allowed the control panel to install the latest “CUDA Driver Version 5.5.47” but I’m not certain as to if this is necessary in my system or not. Does my 5770 take advantage of CUDA or would I need an NVIDIA card to make this relevant?thank you for your help!

CUDA is only available on nVidia GPU’s, not on ATI. You don’t need it and can safely remove the control panel.
