    Hi folks:

I’m working on a doc where the original DNxHD36 files were sent with camera original audio, instead of synched with the double-system recordings. I need to re-synch them, but I’ve already done a bunch of cutting – so the post house is resupplying the mxf audio files with exact timecode/tape names, etc to replace the old mxf audio files…but AVID seems to know they’re not the same files, and won’t relink to them with the original clip.

I’m trying to avoid having to manually recut the audio in. I think it’s the creation date, so AVID knows the file is not the same. Tried all kinds of options with relink, but no joy. Any suggestions how to work around this?

    Best, JIM.

Did you try “relinking to selected” where you have the new clips and the sequence highlighted?
