    ANy ideas? It will be composited over a picture that has cameras going off in slow motion…..want the bulb flashes to stay on screen(ones I create over the real ones) which will be accompanied by titles./…

    How about a big bright lens flare centered on the camera flashbulb that lasts for only a frame or two (or as long as you want)? Just animate the brightness or, in most recent Avid versions, you can put the flare on a couple of frames of filler above your main video track. That way you have almost no render time.
