Trying to retain Project Properties
I set my project properties and ask on every page to keep these settings and open every project like this. (Start all new project with these settings) However if I open a new project, I get asked to set out the properties.
Also, if I set the properties, then say “Start all new project with these settings” the _video_ page loses that tick as soon as I close the Dbox and reopen it. All other pages keep that tick. Therefore if I open a new project, I get asked about Video again.
It’s only the tick box that is lost. The current project that I have set up retains its settings, even if I close down Vegas and reopen.
I seem to be getting some serious data finding issues here: wrong thumbnails for video clips on the Project Media Pane, lost settings tick, can’t do RAM render on an intermittent basis. I am a bit worried about my projects.

But seriously, have you tried uninstalling and then reinstalling Vegas?

I have now been forced to reinstall. I dropped my PC and banged up the HDD 🙁
I have not done it yet. It may well be the answer, but I have had to reinstall at least twice already to get Vegas running smoothly and I am getting a little wary of this.
